Aintree Racecourse, Liverpool Return to Events Listings
Aintree Racecourse is offering ROA members free admission to the Grand Opening Day of the Randox Health Grand National Festival on Thursday, April 6.
Any ROA member who would like to go racing at Aintree but does not have a runner will be issued with a free complimentary Tattersall’s (now called "the Festival Zone") ticket, with any guests being able to purchase a ticket at face value.
Grand Opening Day is the curtain raiser to the Randox Health Grand National Festival, with a feast of racing including four Grade 1 contests, and the Foxhunters one circuit of the Grand National course - won last year for the second time in superb style by On The Fringe (pictured right).
ROA members can take advantage of this offer on production of a valid Horseracing Privilege Photocard / PASScard at the Owners’ and Trainers’ Reception. Due to the number of runners and also the fact that the racecourse only issue Owners and Trainers’ badges to those who actually have runners on the day, Aintree are unable to provide access to the Owners’ and Trainers’ Pavilion under this offer.
Any members who wish to apply for a car parking label for this day should email Sadie Evans at firstname.lastname@example.org
There is a short walk from the car park to the O and T reception, and Aintree have buggies which drop owners off outside the O and T pavilion by the parade ring.
