‘William Hill Half a Mill’ Randox Grand National bonus series launched

06 November 2025

William Hill today unveil the ground-breaking ‘William Hill Half a Mill’ Randox Grand National bonus series, which offers £500,000 to connections of any horse that can complete a famous trial and Randox Grand National double in the same season.

The lucrative bonus is available to the winners of the William Hill Becher Chase at Aintree, the William Hill Classic Chase at Warwick and the William Hill Grand National Trial at Haydock – if they can go on to triumph in the Randox Grand National at Aintree on Saturday 11th April 2026. It will see the prize money for the world’s greatest race double to £1million.

This innovative new incentive aims to rejuvenate the competitiveness of the route to the National, looking to reward connections who try to emulate the likes of One For Arthur, who won the Classic Chase before going on to Grand National glory in 2017.

Expecting the £500,000 prize to be popular, the leading bookmaker is quoting 8/1 for any horse to win the William Hill Half A Mill bonus this season.

William Hill becomes an Official Betting Partner of The Jockey Club

William Hill are also delighted to announce their new status as an Official Betting Partner of The Jockey Club, strengthening their existing relationship with the UK’s premier racecourse operator. The leading bookmaker has consolidated its ties to the Jockey Club as part of a new agreement showing its commitment to the future of British horse racing.
