ROA MEMBERSHIP COST
- Individual ROA Membership - £286 for 14 months of membership
- Joint ROA Membership (for two people at the same address) - £480 for 14 months of membership

Insurance Schemes
Owners are currently vulnerable to claims even when their horse is in somebody else’s possession. ROA membership provides Third Party Liability Insurance as well as the Raceday Curtailment Scheme, Amateur Breeders Scheme and access to the ROCs compensation scheme.
20% discounts on BHA Registrations
Worth up to £75 per member. All owners need to register with the BHA. Members of the ROA are entitled to a 20% discount on most BHA registration fees including registration of ownership, colours and authority to act. Other discounts include on racing Post Members and Racing TV.
Access to our owner-sponsorship in order to reclaim VAT
Owners who secure sponsorship for their racing activities can register for VAT and reclaim VAT on the purchase of their racehorse and racing related expenses including training fees. An average of £4,000 can be reclaimed per horse per year. We can also help with your VAT reclaim!
Complimentary racecourse entry with the Racecourse Badge Scheme for Owners
Just five visits per year would save an average of £150 per membership. Members can pre-book their visit via the PASS scheme to ensure smooth entry or use their digital PASScard to access the fixture on the day. Over 90% of the fixture list is included under the scheme - that's over 1,300 fixtures!
