Dan Horsford Stable Tour

Dan Horsford only started training this year, with his first winner over the jumps, Robber’s Bridge, coming on 20 April 2025 at Market Rasen, followed ten days later by their first flat winner, Nivelle's Magic at Southwell.

Dan started out with Jim Boyle at age 12, before stints with Clive Cox and Warren Greatrex brought him to Barbury in 2010. Quickly rising to Assistant Trainer for Alan King, and with a sabbatical at Roger Varian’s during this time, he ran the ‘Sharpridge’ yard for 12 years with Group and Grade One stars such as Trueshan, Yanworth and Balder Succes under his care.

After 12 years as assistant to Alan King, Dan trains under his own name from Sharpridge, a yard he knows inside out.
