Each year the racing yards of Malton welcome the general public and offer a fantastic insight into what goes on behind the scenes as well as the opportunity to meet an array of equine heroes, racehorse trainers and dedicated stable staff, all whilst raising money for Racing Welfare, the charity that supports the horseracing industry’s workforce.

The Malton Open Day will take place on Sunday 12th September and is kindly sponsored by Arena Racing Company, ARC.  This is already a big weekend for Yorkshire racing with ARC hosting the final classic of the season, The St Leger at Doncaster the day before at Doncaster Racecourse.

£5 off entry to the Epsom Open Day - Sunday 12 September

Eight of Epsom’s local trainers will be opening their gates once again to welcome the public to meet their horses and staff and will answer all the questions you may have about keeping a horse in training at Epsom Downs.

The morning starts at 8:30am where you will be able to see the horses out training on all-weather gallops and then from 9:30am the trainers will be opening up their yards, and giving you a fantastic opportunity to see their facilities.

Tickets for just the morning cost £7.50 adults or purchase in a package with the afternoon racing for just £20. U18’s go FREE to both.

The afternoon racing is a Superheroes and Superheroines Family Fun Day. There are plenty of action packed activities to keep everyone entertained throughout the day, which of course will all have their own Superhero twist. Dressing up as a superhero is optional but definitely encouraged!
