Flat Conditions Stakes: Changes to handicapping rules

Owners and trainers should note that, from 1 September, 2025, the following handicapping rules will apply to all Conditions races open to 3yo or 3yo+.

Excluding the winner, the Official BHA Rating of any horse taking part in a Conditions race (for 3yo only or 3yo+) will not be increased due to performance in this race, providing the horse has had at least three prior completed runs.

This note replaces the previous conditions, which provided for four completed previous runs and which only applied to Conditions races with a total prize fund of less than £50,000.
