Alan King stable visit

Join us and our partners Venatour with an exclusive visit to Alan King's famous Barbury Castle Stables.

Set in the confines of Barbury Estate, the yard is blessed with multiple gallops, varying in distance and surface. With almost 2,000 acres of land, many bridleways and tracks, the horses need not see a gallop and fitness can be maintained thanks to the rolling hills and vast expanse of the estate. 

During the morning visit, you will be accompanied to the outdoor school where you will have the opportunity to watch second lot warm up. After watching the horses work we will return to the main yard at Barbury Castle where you will have the opportunity to tour the stables and meet our equine stars.

At the end of the tour enjoy a welcoming mug of tea or coffee and the opportunity to discuss the morning, before departing at 11:00am.
