Inside Track and General eBulletins

Members are automatically sent our Inside Track eBulletin every day. We also send important information separately. These will all be sent from our eBulletins email address: [email protected]


We understand if you don't want to receive our daily emails. In order to do this, either use the unsubscribe button at the bottom of the email, or email us on [email protected] with Unsubscribe as the Title and we will do the rest.

If you are not receiving our eBulletins there are some things you can do:

  • Call us to make sure you haven’t unsubscribed from receiving the eBulletins
  • Add [email protected] to your contacts on both your email and phone so your devices know that emails coming from this address are not spam or junk mail.
  • Add [email protected] onto your email’s Whitelist or “safe sender” list.
  • If you find an email from [email protected] in your spam folder – mark it as “Not Spam” or safe.

We have put together the following guide for popular email platforms which may help you receive our emails:


Add a contact:

On a computer:

On an Android smartphone or Tablets:

  • Open the Contacts App
  • Tap Add
  • Fill in the contact information making sure you enter the email address [email protected]
  • Make sure you save the contact to the correct account. Next to your email account, tap the down arrow and then select the account that you want the email to go to.
  • When you are finished, tap Save.


Create a Filter to make [email protected] safe:
  • Open the Gmail website from your computer
  • In the search box at the top, select the Down arrow
  • In the From field, enter [email protected]
  • At the bottom of the search window, click Create filter
  • Select Never send it to Spam
  • Click Create filter


Mark email as not spam
  • Open the Gmail website
  • On the left, select Spam
  • If you don’t see Spam, select More and then find Spam
  • Open the email message
  • At the top of the page, select Not Spam

Mark an email as not spam

BT Mail’s spam filters may occasionally send legitimate email into your spam folder, which may be because other users have marked similar emails as spam. If you seem to be missing emails or you haven’t got an email you were expecting, check the Spam folder first. You should regularly check your Spam folder as sometimes emails you’re expecting may end up there. If they do:

  • Sign in to your account
  • On the left side, select the Spam folder
  • Select the desired message
  • Select the Not Spam button at the top

Managing spam in BT Mail

Doing this tells BT Mail that you want to receive that type of email and will help train the spam filtering system. Marking a message as “Not spam” won’t necessarily guarantee that future email messages from that sender will be put into your Inbox. To improve the automatic filtering, you can also add the sender’s email address to your contacts directory and also to your ‘Safe Senders List’.

Check your Blocked Senders list

Messages from senders on your Blocked Senders list will be automatically moved to your Spam folder. If you were receiving messages from a certain sender but aren’t any more, you may have accidently added the sender's email address to your blocked senders.

  • Sign in to your BT Mail account from a computer
  • From the Settings tab, select the Blocked senders folder

  • Look for the email address you want to remove and if you find it, select it in the list
  • Select Delete
  • Select Save

The BT Mail spam filters may occasionally put a legitimate email into your spam folder, which may be because other users have marked similar emails as spam. If you seem to be missing emails, or didn’t receive an email you were expecting, check the Spam folder first. Once you’ve done that, you can also add that sender to your safe sender list. This lists helps make sure that emails you wish to receive are never put into your Spam.

Adding an email address to the safe senders list
  • Sign in to your BT Mail account from a desktop/laptop computer
  • From the Settings tab, select the Safe senders folder
  • Select on the Add button
  • Enter the email address of the sender in the field
  • Select Save
Create a filter

Finally, the most involved option, but the most thorough allows you to set up rules (or filters) that manage how certain email messages are handled. For example, you can set a rule for email messages with certain subject lines or sending domains (e.g. that will always send those messages to your inbox.

  • From the Settings tab, select the Rules folder
  • Select the Add button
  • Set the Conditions (rules) that you wish to apply to your incoming mail. These rules can be applied to the sender, the recipient, the subject line of the email message or to the email message content
  • Managing spam in BT Mail
  • If you have more than one rule you wish to apply to a filter, use the Add and Delete icons on the right-hand side of the pop-up window to expand the selection criteria
  • Next, choose the Move to folder action and select your Inbox
  • Finally, select Save

Filters are show in the “Active filters” list in the order in which they are created. The order of rules matters as the first rule is processed first, followed the by the second rule, and so on. If you have many rules, carefully consider which ones you want to run first.



Add an email address to your Outlook contact list or safe sender list is now the home for Hotmail, Live Mail, and other Microsoft email products for consumers. If you’re finding email you want is ending up in your junk mail folder, there’s a couple things you can do to prevent that from happening in the future. First, if the email is already in your junk folder, you can mark it as not spam to teach Outllok that you want to receive that type of message in the future. If you want to prevent desired messages from ending up in junk before they get there, you can use the safe sender list to designate specific sender’s email address, or whole domains, as “safe”. Email addresses in the Safe Senders List are never treated as junk email. We’ll outline the detailed steps for doing these things below.

Safe Senders list

By default, email addresses in your Outlook contacts are considered safe senders by the Junk Email Filter, but you can change this setting. Email messages from safe senders are never routed to the Junk E-mail folder.

Add a sender to the Online (web) version of Outlook
  • To add people to your Safe Senders List, do the following:
  • Sign into your account from a computer
  • Select the Settings icon (gear icon) at the top-right corner

  • Select Mail
  • Select Junk email
  • Under the Safe senders and domains header, select Add

  • Enter the sender email address then press the [Enter] key on your keyboard
  • Select the Save that appears in the bottom-right corner

Now messages sent from that safe email address will end up in your inbox going forward.

Check blocked senders and safe senders list

If messages keep ending up in your junk folder from a safe sender, you may have accidently added that sender to your blocked senders. You can check that list to make sure it’s correct.

  • Sign into your email account
  • Select the Settings icon (gear icon) at the top-right corner
  • Select View all Outlook settings at the bottom
  • Select Mail, and then select Junk email

If you see the sender’s email address listed under the Blocked senders and domains header, select Remove button (trash can) next to it to remove it from the list

Mark a message as “not junk”

If a desired message is already in your junk folder, you can mark it as not spam. This will move the message to your inbox and teach Outlook that you trust that type of message. You should also regularly check your junk folder to see if legitimate messages ended up there that you didn’t notice. Messages in the junk mail folder are automatically deleted after 10 days.

  • Sign in to your (Live) account
  • Select the Junk Email folder and look for the missing email
  • Right-click the desired email and then select Mark as not junk. The message will automatically be moved to your inbox




Talk Talk

To keep your inbox clean from unwanted emails and to help protect you against malicious messages, TalkTalk has various spam-fighting methods. If you’re not receiving email from certain senders, you’ll first want to check your spam folder for those messages and mark them as “not spam” if you find them there. Beyond that, unfortunately, TalkTalk doesn’t have any of the usual “white list” or “safe senders” features. The most you can do is check that you’re not accidently blocking messages from specific senders, or you can go with a “nuclear” option which allows you to block all incoming messages except those sent by the senders you specify. We’ll discuss these in more detail below.

Mark messages as “not spam”

Email messages that are considered suspect are routed to your email account’s spam folder. Once there, the messages are deleted after a short time (usually 30 days). You should take a quick look in your spam folder occasionally to see if there’s any messages there you think shouldn’t be.

If you’re expecting a message but it doesn’t arrive in your inbox after several minutes, you’ll want to check your spam folder to see if it ended up there. If it does, you can mark it as not spam to move the message to your inbox and help train the spam filter to accept messages like that in the future.

To mark a message in your spam folder as not spam:

  • Log in to your TalkTalk Mail account from a computer
  • Go to Mail
  • Go to your Spam folder
  • Find and open the desired message
  • Select the Not Spam button in the toolbar or in the drop down menu within the email display.
  • The email will be moved back to the Inbox. The TalkTalk spam filters are notified that you’ve marked the message as “not spam”.
Check your mail filters

If you find that messages from one or more senders always end up in your spam, even after marking them as “not spam”, check your mail filters to see if you’ve accidently set one to block messages from certain senders.

  • Log in to your TalkTalk Mail account from a computer
  • Select the main settings menu (triple line button) and then select Settings
  • On the left, expand the Mail section, then select Filter Rules


Review the E-mail Filter Rules. Select Disable next to any rule you don’t want to affect your incoming mail.

Add an email address to your Yahoo Mail white list or safe sender list

To help keep important email messages out of your Yahoo email spam folder, you can add the sender email address to your Yahoo Contacts. If a desired email message is already in your spam folder, you can use an option to train the Yahoo spam filter to not send those messages to your spam folder. If you’re still not receiving email from a specific sender, you may want to check your Yahoo email blocked sender list.

Add a Yahoo Contact

When you add a sender’s email address to your contacts, it tells Yahoo you want to receive email from that sender. This method does not guarantee messages from the desired sender won’t be sent to spam, but it’s an easy way to make it more likely the desired email will arrive in your inbox.

  • From Yahoo Mail, select the Contacts icon
  • Select Add a new contact
  • Enter the sender’s information, especially the sender email address
  • Select Save

If a desired email message makes it to your spam folder, you can remove it from Spam and send a signal to Yahoo that you want to receive that type of email in your inbox in the future. This method doesn’t guarantee messages from that sender won’t end up in spam in the future, but it is an easy way to move the email to your inbox and train Yahoo at the same time.

From a mobile browser
  • Go to Yahoo Mail in your mobile device’s web browser.
  • Tap the Sidebar menu icon
  • Tap the Spam folder
  • Select the desired email from the sender
  • Tap the Move icon
  • Tap Inbox
From a computer

Go to Yahoo Mail on your computer’s web browser

  • Select the Spam folder
  • If you don’t see the “Spam” folder, select More below the “Sent” folder.
  • Open the desired email from the sender
  • Select Not Spam at the top of the page
  • The email will return to your Inbox.
Unblock an email address
  • Select the Settings icon
  • Select More Settings
  • Select Security and Privacy
  • Hover over from an email address, then select the Delete icon


Using Yahoo Mail filters does not prevent email from going to your spam folder. All email goes through the spam filter before going through other filters (source).


To ensure you receive our messages, add us to your email contacts or whitelist.
