Career Ending Insurance payment reduction

The ROA has been working with the Professional Jockeys Association to agree a reduction in the contribution by owners to the Professional Career Ending Insurance (CEI) Scheme for Jockeys. 

We are pleased to share that this has been agreed. In line with Rule 3.4 of the Fee Code, from 19 February 2026 the reduction from £4.50 to £4.00 per ride comes into effect.
